International renewable energy certificate (I-REC) 2024

SIMONA Plastech is pleased to have received the I-REC International Green Energy Certificate by converting its electricity consumption of 7,800 MWh in 2024 to 100% renewable energy, encouraging the production and use of renewable energy for a sustainable life.

I-REC (Renewable Energy Certificate) was introduced by RECs International. The Renewable Energy Certificate is a form of certification that verifies a company's use of electricity obtained from renewable energy sources. It holds international recognition, transparency, and traceability.
